Compatibility

Right now Enscape only supports ArchiCAD 21/22, 64 bit. Windows only.

Installation

Quit ArchiCAD

Install the Enscape preview version

Start ArchiCAD

Use

Right now all Enscape commands can be found in the menu (Tools / Enscape).

Installation for Versions before 2.2.3.2004

After restarting ArchiCAD:

Open the Add-On Manager (Menu Options)

Click Add… and select the the file Enscape.Archicad.Plugin.Host.apx in the Bin64 folder inside your installation directory

Is the download preview the same as the trial link?

The preview page on the website doesn’t sat that it is compatible with Archicad yet?

@ajferguson the trial link leads to our latest release, not our latest preview. @Designscape you can download our latest preview at the bottom of the download page, the description is still subject to change. :wink:

@Designscape yes, but be aware, currently only with ArchiCAD 21, 64 bit and Windows only.

@ajferguson if you’ve already installed our release of Enscape, you can just head over into our [About…] window and click “Visit download area”. Afterward you’ll be able to find our preview via the bottom page.

Hey @MartenE , we’re actually evaluating it right now, but we can’t give you a specific date just yet. However, if everything runs smoothly it might follow soon! :slight_smile:

@MartenE ArchiCAD 22 will be supported with the next preview version in a few days.

Nice and easy to install and use.

Will it be possible to save the views as archicad views (and publish tem)?

I found the trick that will make a material with grass in its name to realistic grass, but I wonder if there will be support for more advance materials?

If yes will that be through Cinérender’s material settings?

Can we expect a Mac version soon?

Mac users are using Archicad, so it would be so useful for us.

Probably yes, there will be better material support in the future.

Not in the next couple of months.
