%localappdata%\programs\Enscape\Data\RevitFamilies
thanks
location changed i think and i can’t find the new location… anyone an idea?
the path will be dependant on install location (custom or default) and version, here are where mine live:
C:\Program Files\Enscape\Enscape.Revit.Plugin-net48\Data\RevitFamilies
C:\Program Files\Enscape\Enscape.Revit.Plugin-net8.0-windows7.0\Data\RevitFamilies
nothing a quick *.rf search couldn’t find.
Why is the planting a rft and not an rfa
(why i couldn;t find it in search)
presumably because the asset-creation method works off of a .rft template (to create a new .rfa on the fly) whereas the camera, material & SoundSource are “just” what they are already (and simply get loaded “as is” )
No biggy though, we can still use the .rft to create a new family, add SPs, change the category, workplane-behaviour, vertical-ity etc then save that as an .rfa and then manually change the file extension (“back” to an .rft) and file-copy over-write the original (admin privileges typically required)
