Error -200

V-Ray V-Ray for 3ds Max Issues

We are running a test install of Vray 2.0, and i am getting an error of -200 when I look at the render dialog. I attached a screen capture of the window with the message.

I did a Google and Forum check, but didn’t find info on this error, or what it meant.

We use an environmental variable to re-path the license file location to the place shown. This worked fine with 1.5, so I am assuming it is not causing the problem with 2.0.

Bump. Has anyone else experienced this error, or know what it is in relation to?

If you open the license server web page, do you see your V-Ray 2.0 license(s) listed there?

This is what I see. So, I am thinking we need to try and update the license server again, and see if it takes properly?

Hm, looks like you either didn’t update the dongle, or the license server properly; it would be best to write to our support guys at vray@chaosgroup.com - they will be able to help you out.
