Every single time windows does its irritating auto updates, every single machine with the update fails to load chaos products. This happens on both win10 and win 11. Corona, Anima, and Vantage seem to be the largest offenders.
I know what the solution is; reinstall the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and update the Nvidia drivers. This has been constant since about July 2025. All my chaos software packages are regularly updated and I see several other posts with similar issues solving it the same way.
The windows updates that cause the issue are the "cumulative update for windows, and the cumulative update for .net framework 3.5,4.8 and 4.8.1. This is relentless on every single windows update. I wouldn’t be so irritated about it, but correcting the issue on the workstations and farm is getting tiresome.
Is this possibly a bug in the chaos world? If so, I would be so very happy to have it corrected.
