Maybe Im confused, but if you dont want objects to reflect an environment map then would you just not have an environment map?
but he wants it to be back there.
worst comes to worst, render it w/o the environment, and then with, and layer the 2 render together using the alpha mask to mask the 2 layers in say photoshop.
thats a quick way to do it.
You can just place an apropriate map in the environment slot of the ground plane map…this can be a total black or hwite map…
This way it would only reflect the other objects and the environment of your choice..
