I want to apply fog to my water but I can’t make a volume in SU… anyone got a sollution for this??
Re: fog
As I mentioned on SCF; could you please elaborate on what you refer to as “volume”?
Re: fog
In order for that statement to make sense you have to elaborate on what you think “fog” is… The material parameter Fog, is simply a way of coloring your object based on the thickness of your refractions. If that is what you’re looking for, then “making a volume” is as simple as making sure that your geometry is closed and grouping it.
If you’re looking for “foggy” water, that’s a much more involved topic, since that requires volumetrics which are currently not supported in VfSU.
Re: fog
thnx for the reply… I was doing a water for pool tutorial and it had a green/blueish fog applied to the water with a low multiplier. I tried it but I don’t see the change in my render u should get like the tutorial. Now I downloaded a good water material and this will do aswell. Just wanted to know why the fog didn’t work.
