I did this video alone during quarantine with corona renderer. Thought I should share here!
I learned a lot in terms of production with big massive sets using corona. One of the biggest difficulties for me on this one was dealing with Forest Pack slowdowns that seem to be a new issue (recent few versions). Vray doesn’t have the same issue. There’s a big loss of interactivity. But Corona was amazing otherwise. One other issue was a difficult thing not having Tyflow work with instancing while using corona. Let me know if you have questions about the process, happy to answer!!
Crazy good, I really like it! Not only the technical side, but also the whole aesthetic.
I did play around with animating cars in a relatively big scenes a while ago. How did you animate the cars? Did you use a plugin?
And can you tell about rendertimes and how long you worked on it?
Absolutely outstanding work - it really shows what is possible for one artist when they have the right tools. As previous comments too - great direction, post production - the full package.
