geforce 670 vs 680 ... 670 better bang for buck?

I was just about to order a 4gb 670 when I stumbled upon quite a few reports mentioning it having lots of issues with DX9 on the gaming front (cant find links now). So I decided to opt for the 3gb 580gtx. The only one that wasnt out of stock everywhere I searched was the hydro version. Finally found the Classified model on Amazon. So yeah, get’em while you can…

Maybe it’s drivers fault?

it’s everywhere here in Poland. So maybe it will be good idea to grab it especially since I heard that nvidia crippled down 600 3d performance compared to 500 series.
