GI pass artefacts in light cache mode

Hello,

I’m encountering a strange issue on Vray GPU 6 2.1 (max 2024).

The scene is composed of 4 state sets, the 3 first renders are good with no issue.
But the last one produce artefacts in the GI pass. Either in bucket or progressive mode there is artefacts, the only difference is their shape that are based on the rendering area (big square for buckets and small grouped ones for progressive).

I can’t share the scene or images, but to describe it clearly: it’s as if the current rendering bucket stops before finishing its calculation and moves on to the next one.
The GI appears partially calculated, resulting in darker lighting in those squares.
It happens randomly during the render.

I have a render present I need to keep, so I cannot just switch from light cache to brute force GI engine due to production restrictions,

If anyone got an hint or ever encounter this issue, please let me know,

Thanks!

Hard to say what’s causing it without a scene. Could you strip down the scene (simplify it) while retaining the LC artifacts and send it so we can troubleshoot?

Yes I understand, unfortunately I cannot share anything…
At least I exposed my issue if others encounter this they may be able to share their scenes,

Thanks!
