GPU without reseting

I have yet to be able to open a scene setup for GPU and hit render without having to reset the renderer. It sits and says preparing renderer. I have posted this before, and it never got a response.

Hey Bobby!

Is it a scene created with V-Ray 5 GPU and you are loading it now?
Do you mean there is a hang on “preparing renderer” until you reset render settings?

It isn’t necessarily a V-Ray 5 GPU; it happens even on new projects created in V-Ray 6. I’ll hit render, and it won’t get past “preparing renderer”.

I have seen this on our remote session on Friday, I think this is a GPU driver issue. Restarting the machine or the driver solves the issue
