What are you shooting these HDRs with? Spheron?
No, using fisheye, Spheron is Expensive, slow, low res, and VERY bad at low light.

Just wondering how you deal with getting so many exposures fired off on a 5D to make a 360deg pano when things are moving, like clouds. Or do you always shoot on nice still days? I’m starting to think its too windy in the UK for shooting HDRs!
I use the 8mm sigma on my 5D, which is great for the 180deg skydomes I normally shoot, but does suffer from a fair bit of CA round the edges.

Nahh, it can be very annoying, but I try to shoot only when the light is good, which mean early morning and early nights, at those times the skies doesn’t move as fast as there are less wind.
It’s much more annoying to shoot a hdr in perfect light, and then when you have to shoot the backplates the light have changed, then all you can do is delete all the files.

well, good to know I’m not missing any obvious tricks!
I did figure out one cunning trick on the 5D though: if you programme in a set of 3 bracketed exposures to the ‘C’ mode, you can then set up your camera as you want it on manual, take 3 exposures, change to C and press and hold for the next 3. Its the quickest way of getting 6 exposures (as far as I am aware) on the 5D. It involves touching the camera though so not ideal.
Looking forward to the nintendo DS DSLR controller becoming available: http://panocamera.com/blog/?p=26 if he could do an iphone version then even better!
regarding the 5D mkII, its a shame the haven’t changed the bracketing options to compete with the nikon D300/700, but the extra resolution and other goodies will be very welcome.
Yeah, it’s a shame it can only do 3 but as you say there are way to get around that, but I’m not sure when that DS controller will be out, not much has happend since he announced it.

Theres work being done on the 40D, so Id assume (incorrectly probably) that if they got it working on the 40D it would/could work on the 5dmkII also.
Im super intrested in the DSDSLR, carring a laptop around is a real pain in the arse…it would also mean that on the bus in in the mornings I could play Monkey Island!
CHDK is for sure interesting, but the current 5D isn’t supported, and it only supports Digic II & Digic III cameras, and the new 5d mkII is Digic IV.. so I doubt we would see anything soon

These are incredible, I find the restrictions on the free sample to be too strict for my client’s liking, otherwise it would really be great to use!

The free sample is for private use only, if you want to use it commercially you should buy something.
Don’t think that’s strict, I think that’s fair, takes a lot of time to make these.

These indeed look fantastic. Though I can’t help but feel you’ve kind of priced yourself out of alot of possible sales. I mean those are steep prices. I straight up wouldn’t even attempt to get my employer to purchase any of these at the current price, he’d just laugh at me. Anyways your work speaks for itself, and if only I were rich.
Given it’s rather HighRes HDRs plus matching backplates the price is pretty fair. Esp since it’s royalty free.
Feel free to head over to cgibackgrounds or alike and get an estimate for world wide publication
And most others out there (if not all) are of poor quality and small in size. And almost all have these neat Spheron Artifacts™ 
I’d say the price is pretty fair doing custom ones a lot and knowing photographer rates
