Ok. same way richard did his animation for lexus im working on a site that was given to me on paper with the contour lines. i scanned it and took it in adobe illustrator to be able to trace the lines. once ive done that… what else do i do to make it into a landscape. in max i tried loft but that messy. i tried u-loft with nurbs thats less messy but still messy. what else should i do?
Have you tried the compound objects/terrain object?
Cross section may work :?:
yeah RErender’s right … it works fine
hmm. ill give it a try as soon as this wing animation is done. take a look at a test im going http://home.caribsurf.com/elfpro/test\_02.zip
groovy. it works. shame on me hehe. goes to show ya cant know it all (although we do try and try)
I don’t think anyone knows everything about max ![]()
That wing looks sweet, how are the feathers linked? expressions? ik solver? or?
each feather is linked to the bone its attached to. and basically the bone thats next to the body controls everything. Im using a rotation reactor controler on the other bones and all the feathers. therefore all i do is fold in that one bone and everything moves. this isnt evident in this test where those feathers are only reacting to that bone on the end and its rotation.
