Hide VFB in batch mode (what does it do?)

There’s a checkbox in the render globals/V-Ray Common-tab (V-Ray for Maya 2.20.01, Maya 2012) called “Hide V-Ray VFB in batch mode”.

What does this do? (it doesn’t seem to do anything)

When unticking, I can’t get the VFB to ever show up in any scenario. Any ideas?

For the moment, it doesn’t do anything and we will remove this option from the UI. Because Qt is not available in batch mode, we are no longer able to show the V-Ray VFB in that case.
