well, you’re right, it doesn’t say so in the description, but it says it right in the title! Most festive image!
No, seriously, you’re welcome to post a video alongside, and I promise we’re going to watch it (at least partially) when selecting the winner, but please send in at least one image, as well, so it’s easier to share in social media etc. when selected
I have a couple more ideas and I would love to show them If I create anything better (maybe some more decorations) . These are some stills that I was working on today. no Post production
Doubled up enscape trees (for a more filled out look)
Clear coated Christmas balls.
Illuminated Christmas lights
Furred tree mat
rolled up towel models painted as wrapping paper for round looking presents.
Escape is the best thing that ever happened to my workflow by the way. I’ll have much more work to showcase in the near future.
Thanks for making an such intuitive program. My students thank you as well.
Many holidays father is not around, so the biggest dream of the holiday is actually one day free time, my father can take me to an amusement park, to find the defects of childhood. All of these images were quickly rendered using scape 2.6.1, and thanks to the power of enscape, my happiness can be expressed in the images.
It’s a rendering competition, not a modeling one, so sure, use what you want, IMO it’s about the lighting, materials views and overall image, be it realistic or artistic.
Very good question here, we appreciate it. All of you three are correct. @solo75287 , yes, this is a rendering competition and the overall result is what counts, nobody is forced to model everything themselves.
On the other hand, @jan1 , by now we’ve gathered some experience in judging renderings, and most times we just see what is original content, “grown with that scene” or modeled for a specific purpose, and what’s been copy pasted.
Rest assured all of that is going to be part of our decision and we’ll not only count correct lighting, materials and perspective, but also originality, creativity, message and effort.
