I just upgraded to the Beta 2 of Vray for Rhino 4. Without thinking, I installed the upgrade onto my laptop instead of my workstation. How do I transfer the license across to the workstation? I uninstalled from the laptop, but still cannot install on the workstation.
You and I are long-time registered users with lots of posts and we were both left out of the private group. :-\ So I am sending you the ultra-secret beta 3. You and I will be the only testers! Don’t tell anyone (even JoeB), and look for your secret decoder ring in the Rice Crispies.
Actually, I don’t have time right this second for a lot of beta testing, so I’m not complaining. Besides, it sounds like they have some kinks that would make it difficult to enjoy at the moment.
I like that…I agree with you Renee that some of the private testers should keep quite (personally I haven’t thrown anything out there unless it would explain or put something to rest…ie a bug thats fixed, or a known issue that is dealt with). However, in order for a beta to be ready for the public it has to be tested by someone other than just Joe so the private testers are necessary. The good news is that if the private testers have it then it is one step closer to you having it ;).
Craig that is where I should have been looking…Thank you !I was looking in the cracker jacks box ;D
what I was pointing is when there are more peoples looking for something, the chances gets higher that you find it sooner, and the official bug free release will also get to users faster.Meaning more money in your pocket.
and Joe I can’t drink more Ovaltine,it is already hard enough keeping awake following the long and hard road to the SR,which I am certain will be almost perfect when release.
It is a good thing that Rhino 4 can be install and cohabit with Rhino 3.
In the meantime I will continue to practice my patience as Damien wrote once, which I know is a virtue but not one that I have been granted with. :
