How do you render a blowup in Vray?

I want to render a blowup of a region of an already rendered image. There is a “render region” option but no render “blow-up” option. How can I render a blow-up with
the same resolution of the original rendering?

sure there is, if you click the drop down of the render view under “area to render” there is a blow up option on the very bottom. Is that not what you want?

There is no “area to render” drop down on my frame buffer. If there is, then I am just and idiot. But don’t see it…just the “render region” button.

In the max render settings where you set the resolution.

dang…you see, I am an idiot! After all these years, I have never used those settings before. Thanks!!

before render region came to vray frame buffer, vray just used whatever 3ds max had for it. I think after max 2010 (though I might be wrong) they reworked the region rendering ui, it used to be in the main ui, but they moved it to the render frame window dialogue.
