I’ve got a question. I wanna change sky colour in my scene from blue to pure white. How can I do this and which settings should I change. I enclose 2 jpeg’s links.

Sun--check off Override Sun’s parameter
Press update (if you dont do this, cant see shadows)

very carefully choose Shutter speed,ISO,F-number…if you dont like result, change these values.

- When you reffer to “n environment” what do you mean?
- When you use “GI (Skylight) M” or “Background M” does have any effect on the render the color of the color box?
- When you say “after render, ajust shutter speed and ISO” you mean that we can do changes after rendering? can it be done any change after rendering that affects the render image? (something like post production inside Vray)

yes. background’s multiplier shows color intensity you need.
its very easy to check. render with very fast rendering settings.

after render, change settings n render again.
if you dont mind, check the frame buffer options after rendering.
Basically the whole sun/sky system works of several parameters, two of which are very important for changing the color/appearance. Those are turbidity and ozone.
Turbidity is the control of the amount of dust in the air. Basically more dust equal less of a blue appearance.
Turbidity--- 2=the bluest sky possible >8=more of a hazy/less blue sky
Ozone is the control for the color of the sun itself
Ozone--- 0=yellowish sunlight 1=bluish sunlight
Keep in mind that the appearance of the sky will change based on the position of the sun, so high noon in the middle of the summer will lead to very blue results. So try setting the sky a little lower in the sky itself to decrease the blue effect. You can adjust the resulting appearance of the shadows through shadow bias as that will pull the shadows towards or away from the object.
Lastly, If you have a map in any slot (GI, background, or any material settings) the color value that is next to it is not used at all…so if I have the sky mapped, my color could be purple and it won’t matter.
