How to set object id in vray maya

Hi Im having trouble locating where to assign object id in vray maya 2, any info on this would be greatly appreciated!!

Either with the V-Ray object properties (Create > V-Ray > Assign VRayObjectProperties to selection), or as attribute to the shapes/nodes (Attr. editor > Attributes > V-Ray > Object ID).
