HP or Sony notebook - 3dsMax+Vray compatible?

Hi there

I’m looking at getting a notebook and need to know if Max+Vray run well on either an HP 7010 or Sony Vaio VGNA17GP? Are the ATI Mobility Radeon 9200 graphics ok?

It will run, but ATI cards IMO don’t run well with Max. Nvidia cards are better. Alienware laptops are amazing…maybe have a look at them, you can choose the card.

i can highly recommend the dell M60 workstation notebook. fastest 3d you will find. (mobile quadro fx 1000)

Thanks guys, I would love an Alienware but it’s a little more than my budget at the moment. As long as Max at least runs on an ATI that’s all I need to know.
