Import Anima 4d People directly into Vantage?

Hello,

I’m curious if Vantage has the ability to import Anima 4D people directly without using an Anima plugin app like 3dsmaxcrap. As a FormZ, SketchUp, & Rhino user of V-Ray, I’m worried adding Vantage to our workflow will not benefit us much unless we have easy access to some 4D people that make simple movements while standing and sitting, even if not walking.

I have also been reading that Envision may be a better path for us, but we have no plans to switch from V-Ray to Enscape and it seems far behind the capabilities of Vantage currently. Surely these two products should just be merged??

Envision is basically Chaos Vantage with additional tools. Not related to Enscape.

Thank you for the insight. I’m confused why they are then only packaging Envision with Enscape in their discounted ArchDesign Collection subscription instead of V-Ray. I have no use for Enscape or Corona, but I would like a package that included V-Ray, and Envision.

Apparently Envision is being marketed to architects vs. visualization professionals. Which I find kind of silly. Since designers have been using Enscape in there workflow, their rational is to introduce Envision to do the things that Enscape can’t.

So back to my original question, can you import Anima or other 4d people directly into Vantage?

Currently no, but the feature request has been accepted: https://chaosvantage.ideas.aha.io/ideas/VANTAGE-I-225
