I’m having a problem with an installation;
I have a dongle and the Wibu server on a machine-1 and the server is using port 22347. VRay works on this computer.
I’m trying to get VRay working on another computer where, in Max when I choose VRay as the renderer and enter the required information in the VRay pane of the render settings, it won’t work…
It’s VRay 1.5 SP1 on Max 9 x64.

did u enter righ IP , and how u install vray on second node? as full or DR?
P.S.Vlado says something about antivirus program that mess with vray instalation…
I used the Host name and it’s ok; on the server’s log I see that the machine tried to connect.
I installed as full workstation, authorisation from a network server.
No anti-virus installed yet…

Ok everything is fine now, I re-installed everything and found the installation section in the VRay online docs.
The installer has a “Help” button that doesn’t work… it should at least point to this web page.
