Is There an upcoming Vray Hair Shader?

Hi all
Hope your all going good.

I had a discussion with a CG artist who said that there will be an upcoming hair shader for Vray. Can I ask for confirmation that this will be happening and also what release date it would be? I would love to beta test this new shader for my character please. If that’s okay I would love to. Will the new hair shader be broken into separate passes?

Yes, we are working on a new hair shader, but there is nothing more that I can say right now.
