Latest work

It’s been a wile since my last time posting renders.
So this scene produced via SU 7.1, VfS 1.48.66, Ps CS4
Hope you like it.

Re: Latest work

hey 4oth these are very good set.. i especially like your interior shots.

are you using ies and sun together? can you sahre your visopt then..

exterior.. i think its time now to use the dirt material of this vray.. road is too clean to be true. dirt map will kinda break down this perfect clean pavements and ashphalt road.

Re: Latest work

Wow, awesome interior renders, 40th! I really dig the lighting. Great job.

Re: Latest work

I too wonder? IES and sunlight? how did you accomplish that? they look great!

Re: Latest work

i liked a lot your interiors man.

Re: Latest work

As always your interiors are great, and i see you improve in the exteriors, some more work on them so they can be at the level of your interiors though, anyway great job bro

Re: Latest work

I really like these. I would maybe dirty up the road a bit in photoshop in the first image to give it a bit more variety and realism (i think i see some tileing). And The one thing that takes away from your interior are the sofa and chairs…everything looks very realistic, but those few elements really take away from the rest of the scene and diminishes the photorealism quality. Small things to some otherwise very good images. Keep up the good work.

Re: Latest work

Thank you all.
Interiors are much easier to produce, and to convince with exteriors is harder (for me at least).

For lightning I used TexSky and IES lights. Physical camera on. Yes, Of course Visopt File: http://www.mediafire.com/?mbtz3jmzyhy

I’ve tried, but the UV gets messed up as soon as I set the type to TexDirt. Have you succeeded to use a dirt map with this new VfS?

I did dirty the road in PP but gently, didn’t won’t to overwhelm. Guess I should increase it a bit more.
Can you please specify what gave it up in those elements? the modeling, texturing et cetera…

Thanks! Can you give some pointers to improve the exteriors?

Re: Latest work

Great renders 40 th, how many hours did you did those great renders, its the new version faster?
i noticed that in the dinning table you have a different wood color!

Re: Latest work

40th , your visopt in my scene render is very slow , i dont know that

Re: Latest work

I think its a bit of the modeling and the texturing. I am being fairly criticial and nit picky because they do look nice for the scene, but i Just think you could make them better. The chair model just looks a little too boxy and the leather needs a little bump and possibly a bit more reflect if your trtying to simulate leather.

Its not bad by any means, I just think the small pieces arent at the same level as the rest of the scene

Re: Latest work

You mean the wood chairs or the leather armchairs?

Re: Latest work

Im referring to the leather ones, but now that I look again, they really only bother me in the second to last view…in the other view where you see the back of the chairs, they actually look a lot better…probably because you are hiding the cushions in that view.

Re: Latest work

Ah I know what you mean…
It’s cause the model is low on poly so the edges look a bit sharp. Well to unprofessional eye it’s unnoticeable.
I appreciate your critic though.
And if anyone here happing to have a nice modern sofas set with decent poly count I’ll be glad if you could share it.

Re: Latest work

excellent set of pictures
IES lights take too long to render or render as fast as the fake ies?

Re: Latest work

Thanks. The IES are pretty light on render time.
