Lens Effect on green color

Hello , I wondering why Lens Fx doesn’t apply on green color (VrayLight Material) it looks nice on Red an Orange ( as I understand - Red and Orange within light temperature and green not or

?) ?
Is it possible to achieve glow on this dark green VrayLight ?

thanks ,

But there is glow on the dark green?

I think mostly the clue is in the wording of ‘dark green’. You can have green show a glow, though it would have to reach a certain intensity, which this
hue doesn’t appear to do.
Also, make sure you have ‘compensate for camera exposure’ ticked, which will effectively boost the effect.

Other than that, yeah, in my experience I’ve have some real trouble getting specific things to glow correctly, based on reference.
My solution is always to spend less time trying to work out if it’s Vray not able to do this correctly; rather, I do it in post.

Ahh I see what you mean, I thought the OP meant the lens effect wasn’t visible on the green metal surface. But you mean the vray light material is green and it turns to white?

It appears to be working for me though -

Yes that hue will be fine. The OP is referring to the lettering I think, which imo is too dark to glow.

But by definition, light should be “light”, you can’t have a dark glow?!

Exactly

in fact the red has a glow, but it is darker … the green with more intensity - becomes too bright and goes to bluish color … in my case I just want to follow original logo color , but with light glow ..

I see what you mean in what you’d like to do, but looking at reference of actual signs this wouldn’t happen irl, as in these examples.
Of course you can realise whatever effect you need, only you’d need to do it in post I think
