Light cache and DR

Hi All,

I am using the light cache for secondary with DR and was wondering what is the correct number of passes to set.
I have 3 machines including the one thats got the file open and all have dual quad cores, so are the passes:

3 x (2 x 4) = 24?

Probably best to just match the highest number of cores on the farm, in your case 8.

The theory is that in order for the results to match all the boxes need to each do the same number of threads. If it is set to less then those extra cores will be sitting idle during LC calc. If it were a farm of 99 dual cores and one octa I’d probably set it to 2… if it were 25 octas and 75 dual cores I’d probably set it to 8 threads…
