A while ago someone posted some links for wood textures but i cant find them on the forum anywhere. This one had free high resolution seamless timber textures (very nice ones).
Does anyone have any good suggestions for wood? So far the best I have are from the ArchMat lib with viz2005 but I need more, thanks!
Lastly, a suggestion that we have a sticky in this section for adding links to common things such as textures and models to stop so many threads asking for help in this area. Just make it a resource knowledgebase with everything including obvious webpages like turbosquid etc. If you read this Natty, do you think this is an ok idea?

hmm I remember one about concrete recently but dont recall seeing one about wood, there are a bunch of links on my site you mite want ot try in the meantime. If you do find the link though post it and Ill add it to my collection as I have alot of people that use my links 
There was a thread a while back with links on it but that was atlease 3 to 5 months ago.

If you need great procedural wood and you have the free Simbiont plug-in from Darktree, you should check out this add-on pack: shaders.org
They have a texture called SuperWood that’s really amazing.
