We wanted to show you our new meadow asset. Initially we build it for our own private and commercial projects.
Once we posted it on facebook we got many requests how we build the meadow and if we could sell it.
We are happy to announce that it is available for purchase.
A making of will follow soon.

available for Corona, Vray and Fstorm. For Forest Pack and Cscatter.
couldn´t resist and just in time. I was playing around with my grass assets a few weeks ago and more or less it was always the same boring kitsch, but yours is much more realistic and interesting… can´t wait to pimp something with it:-)
@Fritzlachatte Thank you for buying. If you like you can add flowers and other stuff to diverse ist more.
@rasskass You only would get the plain scatterobjects without shader and scatter settings wich is pretty much useless. We are working on an C4D Version of it but this will take some time because C4D don’t have such a advanced scattering tool like forest pack.
Maybe it’s more attractive to more people, but i dont’ want to compromise on the quality. Forest Pack is far more advanced and i use features that you don’t get with Cscatter. (attachement) Clustering and shader variety is key to a good looking meadow.
@cecofuli As i said before i don’t think it would look as convincing as with forest pack.
@rasskass Our Cinema 4D/Mograph specialist has a specific idea how to emulate the clustering options forest pack provide. Unfortunately i can’t say when it will be done.
I will try to transfer the idea to C4D as soon as possible. I’m just a bit busy right now, sorry. But the idea is to create a shader network for the clustering that can be used in any scattering tool (MoGraph, SurfaceSpread, CarbonScatter, OctaneScatter…)
Plus 1 for the C4D version. I’d be interested to see how it performs over a wider area. It looks great on these smaller areas but I know C4D in particular can get bogged down quite easily with millions of objects. Its also important for it to have clean edges for lawn edges and paths so larger patches dont work in these cases.
It depends on which scatter software you are using. MoGraph and SurfaceSpread are pretty useless when it comes to larger scenes, thats right. But with CarbonScatter and OctaneScatter you can easily scatter millions of objects without any viewport issues.
Good point with the lawn edges. I will provide smaller patches for these areas.
I’ve started working on the asset, so keep your eyes open.
