Missing Edge Lines

Hi all,

I’m new to Enscape and loving it so far. I’ve got a SketchUp model of a kitchen with edge lines around each group but when I do an Enscape render the edge lines don’t show. All my cupboard doors look like a single piece of timber rather than the individual groups with edge lines. How do I get the render to see the edges of my cabinet doors?

I’ve attached some screenshots showing the SU model and how it looks in the render. Thanks.

That is normal, since we do not render the outlines you’ll see in SketchUp, nor would that be something which our users would want normally.

Still, for this we have a feature actually called “Outlines” as well, you can add them through the slider in the Visual Settings → Outlines. That should provide the look you wish to go for.

i always used 1% Outline @JDoyle and it have a great image in the result but i always do Offset too (maybe 1-2cm) and do Push (1-2cm) if make such cabinet doors to make each others separated not only have line but it will look like 3D object too

This is my sample with 1% Outline and the mirror from Metal

Nice results! Subtle but effective.

I agree… It would be SUPER NICE if we could have more control over where lines are shown in Enscape. Currently we are required to adjust the geometry (similar to how ElZoel describes) which is very inefficient. I believe this is already a request, but just want to make sure it is understood.

Thanks for the advice guys. I’ll have aplay around with my model and see how I go.
