How do you enable it?
It’s enabled. Right click to show all logical treads.
Yeah, hyperthreading is enabled already. It’s not seeing your second CPU, hence 1 socket. What does your BIOS or boot screen show?
I would count the V-Ray buckets, but they are moving so dang fast

Your missing one CPU you should have two sockets not one if you have a dual cpu’s
I better have 2! I paid for 2 :). Is there anything someone should have to do?
I would check the BIOS and see what it reads It should list both.
The place I purchased it from said to contact Dell support. They told me not to touch the BIOS. So, another little hurdle.
Fine, don’t touch the BIOS (why they would tell you that I have no idea). Open up the case and LOOK if there’s a second processor and heatsink.
There’s probably a tamperproof sticker on the case that says warranty void if seal broken
I would check your receipt and make sure you ordered a dual CPU system. I assume they gave u a configuration quote?
The dell support said their records shows it is a single processor. I said it better not be and I sent them the receipt. He came back, apologized, and said that it is in fact 2 processors. He had me open the case to verify an all is good. Dell said to reset the bios, so I will and I’ll see what happens.

The BIOS shows 2 processors. However, the performance tab is showing one. Maybe, it’s tomorrow problem.
