Multiple GPU mining rig? Will it work with Vray Next GPU?

I have 8 spare nVidia GTX1050 Ti’s lying around.

I was wondering if I can get one of those PCIe riser cards, and a Bitcoin mining GPU rack to connect all these 8 GTX1050Ti’s in one PC?

Will it work with Vray Next GPU?

I don’t think it is worth, usually you need x16 shielded risers for GPU rendering, to get the best performance
And you will be surprised to know that a single 2080ti is faster than all 8 GPUs
It is not worth the effort/time to setup

I find it interesting that motherboards usually have 2 x16, 1 x8 and 1 x4. So having three or four cards in one pc already doesn’t get 100%, right?
