guys this is my first render in vray hope you all like it cnc welcome
looks ok for me…just few things:
try not to use the linear colour mapping - exponential works better for me.
now the difference between the light and the shadow on the floor is not so photorealistic. with exponential colour mapping you should get mutch better balance.
area shadows for the sun will be nice and you can put some glossy reflection on that floor- it’ll break the flat look of the image.
about the background- better use something different - that one looks strange.. the perspective mainly
on the stone wall there’s a big difference between the outside areas and the interior part of that wall - check your glass material
anyway nice image and keep working ![]()
i will defenately improve on these comments
thanks ‘nikolay’ i will defenately improve on these comments, thanks for the comments, you are right the render looks a bit wierd, i will try improving it
play around with the uwv setting on the area shadows to get the effect your after. as nikolay mentioned they are a little sharp at the moment
keep posting, looking good
Steve
ok now this is my second render
this is the sencond one plz comment as i have just started learning vray
That second pic looks really nice. Keep up the good work.
the image rendered in the second pic is completly my design i saw a empty room in a book and it made me to model it and put some furnitures and design the whole apartment
mutch, mutch better!actualy I would only put a bit more light in the scene…
and may be you can turn off the “store with irradiance map” option in your skylight portal lights settings -that’ll give you more shadow detail…
cheers
i use Vray 1.46 and i am not able to find store with irrmap in the envi skylight portal, can you plz help me
lighting is much better - the image outside is still a bit washed out though
