My Galley (NEW ext & interior 19 May)

Its been ages since I posted anything.
Here are a few projects Ive been involved in over the last year.
I take all designs through to working drawing stage.
These are the only clients who wanted to pay for renders for advertising.
All were done in SU8 Vray PS

This was an alteration. They wanted to get rid of a porch and extend the living area out.
Which flowed out to a minimal landscape design. Fun project.

Just an interior a client wanted. I went abit overboard on the chairs. I just wanted to
play with refraction.

This is the latest job. 6 appartments. Very tight time line and as always budget. I would like to go back and add to this when I get some free time. Im really unhappy with the car.

As always would love to get any Crits on these images.

I’ll add more projects soon.

Re: Latest renders

wow the last image is awsome, i like it a lot bro, great job!!

Re: Latest renders

My favorites are the first two. Very nice exterior. The last one is very good, but i don’t like the car material. Do you have glossiness on the car material? Beside the car, the render is perfect.

Great Job.

Re: Latest renders

great images. first one is my favorite  . fern plant is too flat to me. how did you make that gravel? it’s perfect.
i like the material’s reflections especially in the interior.

Re: Latest renders

terrific work my friend… terrific work.
unlike the other guys, hehe, my favorite is the last one :stuck_out_tongue:
keep posting!

Re: Latest renders

I’ve gotta say, I agree that last image is killer. I find it hard to get evening images looking good, and this one is fantastic! Really well balanced light.

Re: Latest renders

my favorite are the last one too

it that seems (to me) give one more natural / humanized air

Awesome Jobs!!!

Cptos.

Re: Latest renders

holmes you have excellent renders here.

Re: Latest renders

Cheers bud…coming from you thats an honour

Re: Latest renders

I really enjoyed doing that project. I love doing alterations/renovations.
I really stuggled with the car paint. I used a moderfied version of the
Car Paint Blue Metalic material in your downloads section. I really wanted to play with
it more. But time was against me. At some point I’ll go back and try again.

I used the bumpmap in the displacement slot. I was really happy how it came out.

Re: Latest renders

last image is my favorite. Good work. My only crit is, I would avoid getting to close up with the plants you used…They look good from far, but are too unrealistic when that close to the foreground. Just a small thing to otherwise great work, congrats.

Re: Latest renders

Cheers Steelers.
I really need to start using PS more. The close ups on the plants really dont work. Time to up my PS skillz I think.

Re: My Galley (Updated 8 May)

Design wise Im not so proud of this one. The client watched far to much TV home improvement shows and thought she was a designer.
Oh well some jobs are bread and butter. As always crits welcome.

Re: My Galley (Updated 8 May)

great work again bro! love the reflection on the glass, just add some dirt to the street pavement to make it more real and maybe take out the bird cause looks to big IMO, but i like your work and you are improving a lot!

Re: My Galley (Updated 8 May)

Thanks for your comments
Yup the birds are so cheezy ::slight_smile: so is my client. I should have gone as far as putting an olive banch in the beak of a white dove.
Would you dirty up the concrete in PS or work with a dirt map?
Im not going back to this one but will try improving on the next.

Re: My Galley (Updated 8 May)

Wow what a great set of renders! I consider the fourth image the best of all. I don´t know what you guys are doing but sometimes is hard to believe this is sketchup.

Re: My Galley (Updated 8 May)

Thanks mate ;D
