Not sure if this is a Vray problem or a Maya problem, but since I’m rendering with Vray…
I’m attempting to render a few simple Maya fluid sims on my network, but no matter what I try don’t seem to be able to get correct results.
If I render into the VFB, all is good. If I network render, the sims blow up, I get fluids on frames I shouldn’t etc. etc. The fluids are all cached and pathed correctly for network access.
I’ve had similar problems with particles in the past and my fix was to remove all dynamics except the cached particles. Even this does not work with these fluids.
Anyone got any ideas?
