I moved to a new workstation, and I am using vray launching the vray server from my old station. It works.
But to keep that computer on all the time is not cool.
Should I send an email to Chaos with the request code from vray?
As I did the first time I bought the software?

Here are your options:
1) Leave your old machine turned on
2) Install the license manager on a server that will be left turned on. (this will require you to request a new auth code from Chaos)
3) Install the license manager on the new computer (this will require you to request a new auth code from Chaos)
4) Install 1.5 with the new license management. This means waiting for the dongles which will be shipping shortly after Chaos gets back from SIGGRAPH
I had problems moving
I had problems moving to a new machine a couple of weeks ago. I got the auth code from Chaos but something went wrong and I have had to realy on borrowing the license from my old machine - exact same problem. I decided that the dongles will save my ass - when they get here with 1.5 of course

Tell that to all the are complaining about it… I mean really, because they think that dongles are evil…
Ya, I think that the dongle will be great. No waiting for auth codes, even though I found Chaos to be very quick. There is no replacement for plugging a dongle in with the license on board. It takes seconds compared to hours! :lol:

hmmm…and how would I do that? Is it available for download already?
But I agree, cannot wait for the dongle to come…It will be very convenient.
