Hello and welcome to the new, unified Chaos Forum!
We’re incredibly excited to bring the Chaos, Corona, and Enscape communities together under one roof. As part of this major migration, some users may find that their post history, username, or post count appears to be missing.
Please do not worry! This is a normal and expected part of the migration process. Your content is safe. This usually happens because your old posts are tied to a different email address than the one you used to log into your new Chaos account.
This thread is the official, dedicated place to get all your old accounts merged into your new one, as well as to request any adjustments to your username.
How the Secure Merge Process Works
To protect your privacy and security, we have a clear, multi-step process. Please follow it carefully.
Step 1: Make Your Initial Request Here
- Simply reply to this thread stating that you would like to merge your accounts. You do not need to provide any personal details in your public post. Just a simple “Please merge my accounts” or “Please adjust my username” is enough to get started.
Step 2: Wait for a Direct Message (DM) from Staff
- A member of the Chaos team (Demian Gutberlet) will see your post and contact you via a private Direct Message (DM) here on the forum as soon as possible.
Step 3: Securely Provide Your Email Addresses in the DM
-
For merges: A list of the email addresses you used for your old Chaos, Corona, and/or Enscape forum accounts .
For (additional) username changes: Your desired new username.
Step 4: Verify Ownership via Email
-
For each of the old email addresses you provide, we will send a simple verification email.
-
To prove you own the account, you must reply to each of those emails with the phrase “Confirm Merge.”
Once we have received all your email confirmations, we will proceed with merging your accounts. All of your post history, achievements, and legacy content will be consolidated under your single new Chaos account.
Thank you for your patience as we work through these requests. We’re here to make sure this transition is as smooth as possible for you.
