How do I go about adding some surface texture to my material, or perhaps silver flakes. I tried car paint but couldn’t figure it out. Top photo is where I’m at with the material, bottom is a physical sample. I’m using Noise in the bump map channel. [Connecticut-Detail-3.jpg]

Have you tried the StochasticFlakesMtl? From my very brief experience with it, materials like the one you’re after are pretty straightforward with it. There’s an example in the help files that with a bit of a reduction in intensity and scale, should suit you pretty well… [image] Cheers, John
