I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong but the process for bulk exporting and uploading panoramas seems extremely clunky and time intensive.
Enscape has the option to batch export panoramas, that’s great, but why is there no option to also save the panorama images to a local folder? As far as I can tell there’s no option for this and we have to instead go and hunt down the .xml files that are saved locally, and then run a custom script to extract the data and convert/create jpg images OR we have to go into the Upload Management and INDIVIDUALLY click and save the panoramas (whilst also having to try and guess from the small thumbnails which ones belong to the most recent batch).
The automatic name assigned to the panorama image is then “Panorama_[File Name]_YYYY-MM-DD-HH-MM-SS.jpg” - it’s absolute madness that the Enscape View Name isn’t given as a default property in the file name, it makes file management a nightmare when people have to manually (and correctly) type the view name into in each individual file (and hope that they didn’t mistakenly think the image was from another view).
Finally, I’ve mentioned this before but will reiterate because it’s still incredibly frustrating - having to individually upload the panoramas is painful. I should be able to bulk select all of the panoramas and then ‘Upload All’ rather than having to sit there and wait for each one to individually upload before telling it to then upload the next one.
I hope I’m missing something obvious, otherwise this process is verging on cruel and unusual punishment.
