This is a pano tour: https://www.tours.blockcpm.studio/percyplace/tour/
If you go into the living area you’ll see Dublin out of the windows.
I did this with Google Earth Pro (not the website), I positioned myself as near as I could to where the building/floor was going to be and screen grabbed about 20 views (looking Up/down/left/right etc BUT NOT moving my eye point ensuring a good overlap between each view…It was awkward as GEPro’s controls are nasty to use.
I then trimmed the screen grabs to remove all the interface stuff and processed them through PTGui(https://ptgui.com/) to get the partial pano (I didn’t need 360deg).
It was then just a case of importing the resultant pano image into SketchUp, pinning it to the inside of a sphere and scaling/positioning it to suit.
I’ve only ever done this from street level using “Street View Download 360”.
Not sure this will help for your situation though.
Beautyful model Paul. Thank you for tip : )
As Steve mentions, you can download a specific street view and use that as a background image. It is very convincing, but only from the same camera position. As soon as you move your viewpoint, the parallax causes severe distortion.
Here is another approach where the fine folks at cmBuilder.io have created a method where you use Blender to bring in Google 3D tiles with the BLOSM plugin and a Google API key. cmBuilder User Workshop December 2023 - How The cmGrinch Stole 2D (youtube.com)
Paul, do you exclusively do 360 pano tours?
Not exclusively but I’ve done over 60 or so of them so far. The past 15 projects have just been stills for brochure content.
