Patchy grass

Hi Enscape-Community,

i’m strunggling with some grass surfaces, in my opinion the texture lookes quite patchy even after rendering

and doesn’t create a smooth surface as for example a freshly mowed garden would represent:

Don’t know if I’ve been doing something wrong but even in close-ups i find it to be patchy an rather mossy than grassy:

I’m rendering on ultra quality and set the grass heigt so .5% and height variation to 1.4%

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The grass really isnt a good thing in Enscape, but, you can try Skatter, it produces some very good grass fields
