Picture Viewer and Render Queue - Renders Darker Than VFB

Hi all, I’m having an issue where my renders are significantly darker when rendering via cinema’s render queue or picture viewer, but only on multi-pass renders. VFB looks great but the saved file is too dark when saved. I can save the beauty pass from the VFB and it works fine, but this doesn’t work for queued renders that I’m sending overnight.

The problem is affecting multiple files and even a new test scene I set up. Uploading the scene and renders. Any insight?

Please save your render as JPG and re-attach to the first post. TIFF format is not for sharing on web really.

Reproduced and reported as (Report ID=CC4D-1219).

Unfortunately, saving multipass files is outside of our control as it is handled purely by Cinema 4D. You will observe the same behavior with other renderers (e.g. Standard or Redshift).
Other than that, the OCIO view transform should not be applied to most of multipasses and there is no way to define which ones should get it and which ones shouldn’t.
