I have a problem after installing Corona 12-14. A Windows Terminal window keeps popping up on my screen. It always pops up for just a few seconds and then closes. Unfortunately, it’s very annoying and I can’t work because it pops up even over active windows. The problem appeared after installing Corona 12. I tried to find out what program the command runs, but I couldn’t.
There are probably some simple ways/tools for this, but here is something you can try:
Open the Start Menu, type powershell, run it as admin.
Paste the following text into the powershell window and press Enter:
Register-WmiEvent -Class Win32_ProcessStartTrace -SourceIdentifier ProcStart -Action {
"$((Get-Date).ToString('HH:mm:ss')) $($Event.SourceEventArgs.NewEvent.ProcessName) $($Event.SourceEventArgs.NewEvent.CommandLine)" |
Out-File -FilePath "$env:USERPROFILE\Desktop\process-log.txt" -Append
}
Leave the powershell window running.
This will create a process-log.txt file on your desktop and will log any newly started process there. Once you see the window flashing, open the txt file and check the most recent entries.
Once you are done, type this into the powershell:
Unregister-Event ProcStart
Hope that helps!
it’s most likely the chaos license server.
Open task manager, go to details and kill vrlsupervisor.exe
If the terminal pop ups stop, you’ve got you answer.
You may need to reinstall the license server.
