Progressive image sampler Passes

Hi
In the case of using Progressive sampler, could we have a way to specify the option to stop at determined passes to mantain the same quality from the rest of the image while activating a region? As I understand, If I have time or noise limit, the number of passes keeps increasing in order to reach one of the limits, having different qualities per region.

The noise limit is the most accurate value that should produce the most similar result, as the rest of the image shares the same noise value. Depending on the changes in your region, there could be more or fewer passes needed to achieve the same result, which makes passes not suitable for these needs.
