Quadro or GTX?

I’m going to be purchasing a new workstation soon. I’m in arch viz and primarily work in stills. We’ve always used quadro’s and am seeing more and more people posting about their shift to GTX. Interested in hearing back about why they shifted and if they are happy with GTX over Quadro and why.

I was thinking of going with a Titan X and a GTX 1080. Is there a conflict mixing quadro and gtx?

For V-Ray GPU V-Ray Benchmark | Chaos.
I am using Quadro, Titan and RadeonPro in my GPU and it works fine.

maybe just GTX much cheaper than Quadro.
