Cool!
Will you support the Anima plugin from Axyz to render crowds any time soon?
I’d also like to know this. I have also emailed Rebus regarding Multitexture and RailClonePro. Looking forward to a rapid response… ![]()
anima is pretty much work to install i like to avoid ![]()
@tricky we are clear
Yep - thanks QuakeMarine1. Looking forward to giving it a try.
Our main issues at the moment are the excessive time taken for us to upload vrayproxies. If we have an animated tree for instance, Rebus will not be much use for us as it will take us as long to upload a 3GB proxy as it would to render the animation in-house. The only other thing is support for still image renders (using a DR approach) from a Max file that contains animated objects which happens quite a lot in our workflow.
Great system though.
first upload a job take long but next job you send will skip shared textures and send scene only - it help a lot
for the DR keyfarme error i maybe have a solution …
That would be great news.
I haven’t yet used Rebus but I plan to tomorrow, but i’d say one possible solution for Rebus to implement would be the ability to connect to a users Dropbox (or other content host) as an asset path, so you could keep your common assets there - thus taking advantage of the Dropbox bandwidth when you need to render something rather than choking your own upload bandwidth.
