Hi Team,
I know the support for Refraction gossiness is currently in To-Do List, but please can someone show me a workaround for achieving a glass material where its goes from transparent to transulent to Opaque?
Here is a Picture of a meeting room glass that I want to achieve -
I’ve just done something like this for a recent project and it worked perfectly, I’ve created a standard glass panel with thickness, then I’ve added a surface on the back of the glass with a gradient inside the opacity slot.
In real life the white paint coating of this material is very thin so it is always translucent, to get that you can use a two sided material.
It is basically the same setup posted here plus a gradient inside the opacity slot: Glass - V-Ray for 3ds Max :: General - Chaos Forum
