FIRST: Let me suggest you use the SEARCH function of the max help file. It can save a lot of time.

its a script thats been around for a while.. Its part of the Design extension for Max 5.. one way to get there is the print size wizard.

In Max 6, you just check the ‘Split Scan Lines’ checkbox in the network rendering dialog and specify how many

In 3ds max 6 it is called “Split Scanlines” rendering. Just look it up in the help file.

Ooops sorry, must have been dreaming or something :slight_smile:

Don’t know how to get it for 3ds max 5. Actually it generates multiple backburner rendering jobs. Some jobs for the image parts to render and an additional stitching job that will combine the images and deletes the temporary image files.
