It Will be possible to render using chaos cloud and save as vrimg to have an original format similar to the one we save with vray frame buffer is a .vrimg that has all elements and light mix included. I tried EXR but have some limitations.

You can specify that you want to save the output as a .vrimg in the 3ds Max File Menu → then select Save As and from the Type menu select .vrimg. Chaos Cloud will respect your choice and will generate a .vrimg. Please let me know if this works for you.
