Haven’t had time to confirm on a simpler scene but with this current project every time you render within Maya GUI the VFB doesn’t clear the previously rendered mask when going through a different camera. So the render masked objects “build up/overlay” on top of each other. “cache geometry” is on and I’m using object sets to select my render masks.
Maya 2016
[2015/Dec/21|16:24:49] V-Ray: V-Ray for Maya version 3.10.01, revision 26499 from Dec 6 2015, 06:19:41
[2015/Dec/21|16:24:49] V-Ray: V-Ray core version is 3.25.01
I can confirm the issue, but I’m not sure we can do much about it.
The intention of the Render Mask feature is to allow you to change the look of parts of the scene.
A workaround is to press the red x button in the VFB before rendering.
What are you using the Render Mask for?
p.s. There is a real bug when rendering a scene with multiple cameras in Batch. This one we will fix for sure.
