Re: render wireframe of a mesh object
Max: Yes Rhino: No
In Max there is a texture called V-RayEdgesTex which will do that for you. We don’t have that in Rhino yet. I’ll ask Joe if its in the SDK though.
Heres a link to Spot3d for more info
Re: render wireframe of a mesh object
Thank you for the fast answer. It would be very helpful for me to have it in Rhino. Can I import this material to Rhino VRay? Can I use Depth of Field with this material?

Re: render wireframe of a mesh object
heh pile that one onto the wish list heap! can you guys see the ground anymore from the top of that heap?

Re: render wireframe of a mesh object
So it doesn’t look as though there is an explicit EdgeTex shader, however it may be an implementation of the V-ray toon Shader only on a face by face basis as opposed to the whole mesh. Either way we’ll look into it.
Travis:
Who says we’re on top of the heap? Some days if feels as though were buried underneath it ;D … And I haven’t even begun explicitly stating my own wishes…that will be an even scarier day ![]()
Re: render wireframe of a mesh object
lol I know what you mean. Well you guys have made great progress over the last year so it’ll come together sooner than you think I would bet. Get Joe more coffee!
