HI All.
I have been using a Revit to 3ds Max workflow for years using (file link manager). Works well, and when project updates happen in Revit, I can easily reload in Max and recieve the updates.
Is there a similar workflow that can be adopted whe exporting a .vrscene from enscape or other platforms.
Would be interesting to understand other Archvis workflows wher design devlopment happens thoughout the visualization process.
I guess simply re-exporting the .vrscene with the changes should do the same thing - sync with wherever it is loaded.
Sync? How do you sync a imported .vrmesh?
By simply overriding the original.
I am not finding a way to Reload/sync. The way i have imported the Enscape scene is: Top tab/Vray/ Enscape Vrscene imorter (Beta)
Once imported some material, mesh modifications are made to the scene in 3ds max.
If changes are made in Enscape and a new .vrscene exported, how would one reload the new scene from Enscape but still keep modifications made in 3ds max.
Okay, that’s a different thing. You basically wish for a two-way synchronization between 3ds Max and Escape; however, that’s not currently possible (stated in this docs page). Your previous one-way workflow is similar to what I suggested, but instead of referencing .vrscenes, it’s .fbx, .dwg, or .rvt files. For now, this is the way to go: Enscape > Export to .vrscene > Link in 3ds Max via VRayScene > Update Enscape > Re-export and so on.
